My students have ranged in ages from four to fifty, but upper elementary is my absolute favorite age range. It’s such an exciting age to be a part of! It’s an age where students begin to see a bigger world outside their family and friends, and being part of opening up that world to them is a pure joy. It’s also a critical time to not only teach the technology tools that can enhance understanding, but more importantly learn how to be a critical consumer of online content. In short, I love this age group because it lets me help sow the seeds of being both a responsible world citizen and a responsible digital citizen.
